you hold on to your Corolla; some cars are still a better buy used versus some brand new out there, aka KIAYay, another brand bashing thread.

Have there been any recalls or acknowledged problems with Hyundai/Kia EVs? Links or pointers if you can provide 'em.A Hyundai EV is basically suicide

What are your objections to a Corolla?good lord I can't think of anything worse than a Corolla!
What are your objections to a Corolla?
It's a pile of crap, every one I've ever driven. I can't imagine anyone walking into a showroom and saying, "what a beautiful car, that's the one!"
Value-engineering at it's finest, isn't it?
In what way is it a "pile of crap?"It's a pile of crap, every one I've ever driven. I can't imagine anyone walking into a showroom and saying, "what a beautiful car, that's the one!"
Everything feels like it's going to break off in your hand, most pieces haven't...but Dorman makes replacements for the ones that do.
My friend has a Hyundai (it's like a 2nd car, he doesn't drive it that often) and I broke the passenger side door handle when I tried to open it!
Not surprised, Hyundai is just a cheap copy of a Toyota.
i'm not defending any manufacturer out there, they all had and still have their corks and problems...Comments such as yours needs to be put in context-

anytime when she goes out for lunch, if someone wants to joint her, she first puts out the disclaimer of "door not opening from outside"
There are a reason for itThe BITOG holy trinity:
1. Thick oil is a better choice
2. CVT's are scary
3. No one with a brain could own a Hyundai/Kia product
