Husky Liner floor mats.

Best I can tell, they seem like a good product. Any input?

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd spend $246 on floor mats (3 rows) but I can't take it anymore in our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. I've tried some some generic fit stuff and even some bulk carpet runner. It just plain wont stay put. The constant in/out of kids, soccer games, etc, is taking it's toll. I could vacuum the van 5x a week and barely keep up with it.

The worst part is, all kinds of dirt and debris constantly falls through the gaps in the 2nd row stow-n-go well covering, so that's a constant battle.

At least now, the majority of the floor will be covered in rubber/vinyl.

I purchased a 2nd hand WeatherTech cargo liner for the back, some time back.

We'll see how this goes..

Good luck. I think I have Husky's in my truck, and I like 'em. I read reviews on line, and they beat WeatherTech slightly, only due to some slight differences.

What I find odd is that I added molded vinyl floor mats to a truck... because it came with carpets... had it come with rubber flooring I wouldn't had to do anything! Shame they can't just skip carpet in the footwells, and just add drain holes too.

Bought a set of Husky's for the GF"s mom's 2011 Sonata. Installed them the day the car came home from the dealership. Best investment ever made for a car that sees so much salt, dirt and sand

Supton is spot on with his comments. Many years ago they only had vinyl rubber floor coverings and people put carpet mats in. Now they put carpeting in and we buy these rubber liners to go over it!

In my Jeep, I put Rugged Ridge in the front and Husky in the back (seat foot wells). For the Patriot, each of 3 brands had pro and cons vs. fit and finish, thus the 2 different brands.

They work awesome collecting dirt, sand, etc. if you use your vehicle off the concrete jungle.

Funny, I had carpet runner in my Odyssey for over 13 years; once I threw them away, I now have nice original carpets for last two years. At least, I get to enjoy them now rather than the next owner.

I like them, had them on 3 Jeeps in a row over 9 years or so.

Nice fit, high sides that hold well. Only minor downsides I experienced were:

-Could be slippery when wet w/ dress shoes, leather soles. Especially noticeable on enter/exit
-They start out kind of glossy and become dull in the wear areas. Not a problem if it doesn't bother you.

I would get them again. I've never had the Weathertechs but friends have raved about them and their other products are sure nice.

I ordered them though AutoAnything. Normally they sell for about $90/row. I used the site's chat function to ask for a promo code since I couldn't find any. The sales person said they currently don't have a promo going on, but would give me 10% off the mat set anyway. Done! Kind of neat because the dude edited my "cart" while I was online. Little scary, but neat.

Now if I can only keep kids from hurling in the van. My 8yr/old hurled in the 3rd row cup holder the other day, before one of the other kids could toss him a bag. Good times. MVs can lead an unpleasant life.

I have a set of Husky Weatherbeater mats in my Outback. If you are asking for your Caravan, I don't know how the Husky mats fit. But for your Outback, I would score them on a scale of 1-5, as follows:

Fit: 4. While designed for a perfect fit, mine must have been boxed hot. Both the driver and passenger don't fit tight to the contour of the foot well. But still nice. Others have reported perfect fit.
Attractive: 3. And that's being generous. For my Subaru, the factory matts are a perfect 5 for looks. the Weathertech digitals probably a 4. But the Husky Weatherbeaters just don't have it in looks.
Sturdy: 3. The are super thin. That doesn't seem to matter on any but the passenger. It tends to kink at the outside angle. Looks [censored]. But, they are warranted for life. I guess if it cracks, I can return them.
Protection: 5. By far the best of the mats I have looked at. Deep side walls. Very nice.
Channeling water away from occupant: 2. During the winter, when slush and melted snow accumulate from repeated in and out on a day out, my pants cuff gets soaked in water. That's salt brine here in Utah, where salt is generously used to melt snow and ice. My factory Outback mats have deep troughs, which do a great job of channeling the water and slush away from your feet. They get a 5+ in this category. I don't think the Weathertech Digital mats are any better in this category.

For me, the bottom line is I will stay with the Husky mats because they protect my carpet better than the other choices. But, if I were buying for a different car, I would definitely take another look at the Weaterhtech Digital mats, to see if they offer equal or better coverage for that vehicle.

Just looking through their website I can see a good number of pics that clearly seem to show divots or bumps in the mats for the factory retention system.

There are also different levels of mats. They sell some trim-to-fit ones that aren't for a specific model, so I'm sure they don't use the factory retention systems.

Here are the mats made specifically for my Nissan, for instance.

Got the Huskys today and got them into the van. At this point I'd say they're an ideal product for a minivan that does a lot of kid hauling. The fit of them is perfect. If there's a nook, doo-dad, or bump, the mat is molded to accommodate it.

The only issue I had is with the 3rd row mat. I had it a tad too forward, and when I tumbled the rear seats into their upright position, the 4 plastic stabilizer feet that pop out from the seats and mash against the carpet almost punched 4 holes though the new mats. Once positioned properly it was perfect.

The van floor is similar to an old-school pickup truck now. All rubber. The only exposed floor carpeting is between the front seats where I removed the center console. My basic SE model has the real basic center console that resembles something out of JC Whitney from the 1980s. We like better without it for walk through purposes.

Real happy with the purchase so far.
