How to remove ABS motor bearing?

Here is the 2004 motor after I cleaned the commutator with electrical contact cleaner and a toothbrush. I also cleaned out the grooves between the bars with a plastic pick. Do you think it's good enough?

Depends upon what you mean by good enough. I think it will work better, longer, if you take some very fine sandpaper to the commutator bars to true them up a little, get a good % of the grooves out and expose more fresh copper.

Then again good enough could mean till those brushes wear out and in that case, yes I think that's good enough. Commutator bars will also be much easier to sandpaper true again, when it comes time to pull it further apart to put new brushes in.
