How to get rid of a squirrel in the attic?

Would one of those non-lethal "Havahart" traps work with the right kind of bait? Just a thought.

Yeah, when I was kid I used those to trap squirrels and rabbits. A pellet gun is plenty.
BTW, they taste good grilled. At least, When I was kid and proud of my catch, I thought they tasted good grilled. Kinda wonder now if I would still like em....

Just have a conversation with the squirrel. Tell her that although she is your mother-in-law she was only supposed to stay until she was back on her feet.
