How to fix stripped oil pan drain bolt?

Sorry guys it is 1/2-20 . I was thinking of using the 1/2-20 SO . Will this work 090-051 dorman ?

Yes, but I would use the piggyback as I mentioned earlier in this thread, instead.
I would too. The problem is, you will be running that oversize bolt in and out of worn threads, every time you change oil.

I would drain the pan well, clean the threads of oil and locktite the piggy back oversize bolt in. then you just remove the smaller bolt to change oil.
