I used to use Techron, but just tonight for the first time ever I put my first dose of FP60 in the tank. We'll see how it goes

I use a bottle of Valvoline Synthetic Fuel injector (not system) cleaner every 10K miles.

I might change to either Valvoline or Redline Fuel System Cleaner every 10-15K miles. Seems like a better idea.

I have used fuel injector cleaner once or twice in the past 30 years.
I have never noticed any difference and do not like to waste money. It does seem as if the detergents in gasoline work well enough...
150K miles on the Saab and the Honda - no problems...

"Just run gas from "Top Tier" rated stations and you won't need a cleaner."

We usually run Chevron, and tried Shell for awhile but switched back to Chevron as both cars seemed to start pinging earlier than usual. Regardless of gas they eventually start to ping, and I need to use a fuel system cleaner. MMO or Gumout of any type doesn't seem to work for either Taurus, only Techron. We're probably getting close to worst case though, with a lot of short trips and driving up and down the hill that we live on.

If you really need them cleaned then take it to a shop and have them do the high pressure cleaner. Costs a few more $$ but it will clean them better then anything you dump into your tank.

Redline Complete Fuel System Cleaner.....most every tank in the Maintenance Dose as indicated by the markers on the side of the bottle.
