I bench 250 till muscle failure once a week. That's all the weight I have, so I'm not sure of my max. I need to get out and buy some more weights. My size, I'm 6'1,165 lbs, waist is 32.

My weekly workouts are three nights a week. Arms, chest, then shoulders.
Do you Cardio on off days

Be careful about going max weight. Once the rotator cuff tear problems start, it can become a big hindrance.

My wife has a gym membership and I went as a guess with her yesterday. I could only do 130 pounds. I weighed and measured myself yesterday.
161 pounds naked, 6'2"5/8.
I remember pictures you posted of her, she looks VERY fit!!(y)

In my younger days 240 lb. once. I remember spotting for a good friend, he is the strongest person I know. He did 500 lbs. free weights on an old school bench press. I stopped him at 4 reps telling him there was no way I'd be able to get the weight off of him if he couldn't do the fifth rep. LOL

This brings me back to the supplements. What's the difference between whey and whey isolate?
I think some great information can be had by checking out Dr Jim Stoppani on the subject I'm not telling you to buy his products he is a wealth of information on the subject.

I was really in to weight lifting at one time. My best using no cheating techniques or special equipment was 430 lbs. Then a friend suffered a nasty injury while going for a personal best, and I decided that the only person that really cared what my max bench press was, was me. And I realized I didn't care THAT much. Certainly not enough to risk injury. I've since lost some muscle mass, but still exercise to stay in shape.

I'm on the Dave Draper forums and he's always emphasizing protein intake. I'll definitely check out Dr Jim Stoppani (y)

I lift regularly and have tried to step it back up to work with my youngest son who is in HS.
I'm a big guy, come from a big family. I weigh about 270-275 and am the smallest out of my brothers.

In our youth, my younger brother and I would work out (bench) with 4 plates - 405 lbs often and then add more for braggin'. Incline and decline dumbbell press we would do 150's and it would feel good.

To answer the question, I worked out with my buddy a couple of weeks ago and I benched 3 plates and a nickel, so 335 lbs. I did that for about 6 reps and it felt good and controlled.
