How much can you bench press?

Yes I do. Right now I'm trying to play catch-up on everything since our gym was shut down for 2 1/2 months so I'm feeling like a beginner at the moment 😂
I was in same boat now home gym build back on since about April. Will pay off longterm amazing how much you can get done with a rack of dumbbells and a pile of free weights.

435 lbs. single rep - competing at 198

Never a single drop of anything illegal, and un-equipped.

Competed in Strongman competitions for many years, winning several, and doing quite well.

My body now pays for it...seven surgeries later and arthritis in my early 40's, but I finally listened to my surgeon and have fallen back to daily cardio only...but I sure do miss moving some weight.

Dang man you got me beat for sure, and I competed in NCAA powerlifting for one season, also at 198. (I was kicked off the team because I refused roids from the coach). I came close but did not lift 400. I think it was 390 or so.

Yeah I figured how much it would cost to buy the equipment such as hack squat- leg press machine, pullover, shoulder press, and some other hammer strength and that is expensive. Then it's not having enough space for a rack and everything else.

Thank you! Nice work, that is still an amazing lift!!! Well done at keeping to your values and not caving to "enhancements".

This is kindof why I've not tried too hard to keep koving more weight. Between being decently strong and jujitsu, I have enough power to accomplish my goals.
