I just looked at the roll-call thread on who has 150k+ on their engines, but I noticed there wasn't one for us heavy users who are behind the wheel quite a bit :-)

I was thinking something like:

Vehicle: 03 Civic LX
Miles a Year: 23K
Total Miles: 24K
Oil / Filter: Redline 5w20 + K&N
OCI: 3K filter, 6k full change
Occupation: Musician, Student, Teacher, IT

I'm using Redline 5w-20 and have been using K&N oil filters. This change it's going to Mobil 1 filters and my remaining RedLine. Most of the miles are highway going to and from gigs and teaching lessons. It's funny how your driving style changes when you drive a lot. When I was 19-20, I would be hard as nails on my engine and drive like a fool. Now I'm 22 and sigh with resignation when the rice rockets in my area pass me like I'm standing still.

Anyone else drive a lot?

Bought a car ('95 Accord 4cyl) with 90k miles on it March 03, had 120k on it in March 04. Now I drive even more, since I do pizza delivery in addition to my driving for errands and fun!

Three cars/trucks.

I put 99% of miles on the Corvette, 20% on the Acura and 90% on the truck. Wife does most of the rest of the miles. Large majority of trips in all vehicles are over 5 miles. For some reason 10 mile trips in the Corvette often turn into 100 mile+ trips:) We also avoid heavy traffic (it's not fun). These driving patterns are for the last 2.5 years, since we have been retired.

OCI/FCI: 6k miles on all.
Occupations: Two retirees
Oil Consumption in 6k miles: 0/~.25 quart/~.5 quart

Notes:
(1) Mobil Delvac S1300 15W-40 while using ARx recently, did/will go back to M1 10W-30 when done with ARx cycle.

I drove my last few cars about 18,000 miles per year but I will do more than that now that I've got my dream car (a 98 Corvette) I've been averaging 500 miles per week so far since I got it 6 weeks ago. And I'll be doing a 1000 mile round trip with it next weekend too. I figure I'll average closer to 25,000 miles per year with it now. I'm having so much fun driving it!

I'm using GC 0w30 in it, with a K&N oil filter and K&N air filter. My first few intervals will be 5-6k, but in the future I'll go longer in the summer time (most likely I'll run one interval each year from May to October, then do two oil changes in between that time)
