How many miles on Rotella Synthetic or dino?

With an Amsoil full flow and bypass filter, how many miles do you think I can go with my truck in between oil changes using Rotella synthetic or Delvac dino?

How about with an Amsoil full flow WITHOUT a bypass?

Based on previous UOAs and diesels like mine.

My guess is 15k or more.

But why rely on other UOA's. You should be doing your own, and telling us, not asking us ...

I realize you'd like a guideline, and that's what you've just got. But if you want details, you'll have to do a UOA for yoursellf. Every vehicle, each with a different setup, is going to be a bit different.

Wow... so many variables. I currently have 40K on my oil using bypass and the UOA's are still good. Soot still less that .1 and the TBN still above 7. But so many other things could dictate when to change. Also, the UOA's are primarily for discovering a potential engine problem based on the wear metals, glycol, etc almost more so than whether you can extend the drains a great amount. I am able to extend the drains quite a bit by using bypass, but that is just a perc. I follow the UOA history to watch for potential problems.
