This is one of those "I'm bored" threads. Anyway, I have three keys (F150, Aerostar, and House) on one of those spring steel rings (I believe they are called Split Rings). Since I carry them in my pocket almost all the time, I hate a bulky key ring. I suspect most men will have minimal key rings with few keys for personal use, while some may have big rings of keys for work (especially if you are a maintenance man at a building or facility), which is more like carrying tools.

There was a liability to the single massive key ring. I don't know now since I haven't heard of it lately, but at one time the massive swinging pendulum, over time, would wear out your lock mechanism in the column.

My wife does. Nothing wrong with that, just would bug me to no end.

Corvette: No keys. I always carry my VW fob with the house key attached.

VW: 2 keys House and mailbox, VW key is built in like a switchblade

I carry 1 key normally. I only carry the key to whatever car I am driving, same for the wife. We don't lock the doors on the house so no need for a key to unlocked doors and most of the cars have the keys in them.

Truck key, front and back house key, topper key, handcuff key. The wife carries a key for about everything we own.. not sure how she stands it.

typ901, Keyless is no big deal, until it doesn't work. I would just as soon have a key type ignition switch.

Not on the ring, on a key chain, those with tiny balls. Rings want to be perpendicular to the keys, I find this is easier on the pockets.

Two little GM keys on a chain, three house keys that I had in aluminum on another chain. My problem; I regularly lock the keys in the car.

If the two doors have same key blank, a locksmith can rekey the one so both open with same key. Usu charge about 8 - 10 bucks.

That doesn't work in the Detroit area, or many other areas. My brother used to leave his doors unlocked when he lived in Biwabik Minnesota.

I'm a minimalist:
house key, truck ignition key, fob/keyless entry, lab key for school.

I keep a seperate set of keys for my wife's car. I don't drive it often enough to carry them around with me.

I also carry a pocket knife in the same pocket.
