How many GenX'ers do we have?

Screw that. I make fun of my wife regularly for being a millennial (1980). She sees this crap & I’m not hearing the end of it. Time to purge the interwebs of this nonsense 😂
My middle brother was born in Oct 80 and he’s definitely Gen X. My youngest brother was born in 83 but he’s not a millennial either; he’s definitely Generation Beta. I’ve met tomatoes with thicker skin than he has.

My first cassette was Foreigners ‘Records’. I played it in my new 81 Monte Carlo…with TTops and padded vinyl half roof of course while my two genxers sang along unbuckled in the back seat! In 6 pages I’m surprised 8 track hasn’t been mentioned!

‘77 here.

Work with other Xers & Boomers. Haven’t had a millennial in a few years make it. I’ve met a few really bright ones but fewer with good work ethic. I’m sure they’re out there somewhere.
I have/do work with many Millenials...never an issue.

My first cassette was a mix-tape. One side was British 80s, the other was 80s reggae. Thompson Twins (band) and Pass the Dutchie (song) are two I remember. ♥️
Positive vibrations mahn 🏝️

1971 here! 🍻

If you wanted a mesh of British late 70s/80s and reggae all on one cassette, The Police “Regatta de blanc” was it.
Love the energy of this!

My Passat has a tape deck...

Other than Smashing Pumpkins and the Singles soundtrack, I had all of those same cassettes. I had several 4 row cassette holders packed full.
Unfortunately, a lot of them got eaten by the cassette tape gods. I will never forget that sound of a tape getting chewed up. 🤨
