Incorrect. Some of the GRP III used in thr full syn is from Korea. It's pretty good stuff. SK lubricants is the company in Korea.
It's valued priced because it's at sams club not because of the base oils. Its the same price as Kendall everywhere else ie AZ OAP
There's a percentage of Korean group III used in semi-synthetic of Trop-Artic and Kendall. But I don't think the Motorcraft synthetic or semi-synthetic base oil comes from Korea.
Hopefully someone here can confirm that.
Motorcraft is made by CP and all of the oils are very similar if not the same, trop artic, 76, Kendall, Motorcraft. Except for Kendall which has the extra titanium additive.
Just saying the Korean base stock isn't why the oil was value priced, it because of the quantity and the store you bought it from buys in bulk.
