Decided to pour 10W-40 conventional oil in my Xterra this summer - its always run conventional or semi syn. Currently has Havoline 5w30 in it.

Showed up in new box with SQ rating. Found that interesting - unsure why I guess. Either way, hope its good stuff. It was $23 for 6 quarts. Walmart delivered.

So I was visiting my local Walmart and knew I was getting close to an oil change on my '12 Ram. I've typically used whatever was in sale, whether it be conventional (was told my truck came with Pennzoil conventional) a blend, or sometimes synthetic. The Havoline High Mileage blend was on sale for $23 for the 6 qt box so I figured what the heck.
I keep my oci's to around 5k and have used everything from Fram, Mobil 1 and Supertech filters. I went with ST since it was on sale. I can honestly say, this may have been the cheapest oil change I've ever done on this vehicle. I might stick with Havoline here on out. The price is definitely right.
