I'm too OCD to do that as a solution.

In my Silverado-I get in and put on my seat belt, push the start button/and then push down the little lever to turn off the start/stop. Those tooth picks look like garbage.
In my wife's Volvo-it's a mild hybrid-and can't be defeated-but it also is so smooth with the integrated ISG it is not a factor.
