Hotshots Red Diamond PCMO!?

have to agree with the marketing of engine oils especially, like some use official oil of Nascar etc just resting on their past laurels , many claims, some true some not (farce) , some are not transparent on their printed consumer specifications, old or obsolete comparison testing, seems like LSJ hit it on the head and don't look at the brand ,look at what's in the oil using as much data & testing as possible to draw a conclusion of the intended product. education is key to selecting a lubricant, through many sources, not always u-tube.

Or one can pick an oil that actually has a demanding approval such as Mercedes-Benz 229.5 or VW 504 00, one of those two would be appropriate for nearly every vehicle on the road. No need for any YouTube involvement whatsoever. Every legitimate blender is transparent about approvals and they can be verified through manufacturer lists of approved oils.

I’ve said it so many times on here. The biggest problem with the oil industry, is its marketing.

Lubricants marketing is so dumb. It could easily be straight forward and honest. It could educate its consumers. But instead we get crap like this. “Powered by super nano science infusion critters!”

You can see my previous posts ripping apart Mobil, Kendall, Valvoline, Pennzoil/Shell, Castrol, etc.

“Powered by triple action liquid tech to restore and protect your engine with titanium infused super clean GTL oil!”

Yeah. Everything I say after this would get censored.
I'm waiting for the Borg nanoprobes to start programming our oil.

Let me just say this.

For the general consumer, reading is hard.
