Hotels near Atlanta State Farm Venue/Amphitheater

What are good hotels downtown there. Any close enough to walk to the amphitheater ? Is it safe to walk to it from a hotel there?

I have not been to Atlanta in 30 years.

It should be a fairly safe walk. You'll run into your usual homeless people hanging around down there, but if you're going for an event, police presence will be increased and you shouldn't have any problems.

What he said, but stay on the main drags and don’t cut corners to make shorter, like most cities you can go from fine to not fine in a block or two.

I’ve only stayed at the Marriott Marquis but IIRC it’s a pretty good walk to there.

I've had family stay at Reverb and they had no problems. You're going to be right near GA Aquarium, Mercedes Benz Stadium and GA World Congress Center (Mega large convention space). Typically the area is going to heavily policed during events at night. I live about 10-15 mins away and like to get my German food fix at a restaurant not far from there.
