And BTW, we were going to spend the first night in Needles so we can drive the old Route 66 through Oatman AZ. Past Oatman the road is desolate and way the heck off the beaten path, but that's the kind of road trips we like. Then 3 nights Sedona and one night in Palm Springs on our return to visit friends.

Is Jasper still quiet?

The NP itself (and the other NPs around there) was awesome. Luckily when I went there wasn't a lot of cars. Kootenay was my fav, Banff took most of the glam so Kootenay was much more quiet.
