93F here now, but only 52% RH, so hot but not intolerable.
AC absolutely needed for sleep at night.
We had a pretty cool spring followed by an abrupt shift to heat.
Last week was very comfortable overnight with just the windows open and the ceiling fan running.

Con Edison, the primary power company in New York has asked customers to cut back on power usage to avoid blackouts.

The past two days I saw 38C (100F) on my Hondas readout for the outside temperature, which is accurate but that’s just the temperature on the road. The actual recorded temperature was in the mid 90s. In my lifetime I think I have only ever seen it hit 100F three times here. A typical summer day here is 75-80 degrees.
