Upper 50's here overnight. High was 78° today. This first half of August has been a nice reprieve from the slightly higher than normal heat and humidity. Got on the riding mower tonite just to ride around for a while in the nice fresh air from Canada. Trimmed some skippers from the other day. Also got some fresh E0 fuel in it, in case there is fuel left at the end of the season.
Its been unusually hot here. We often see 100-105 a few days a year. Its been 108+ for weeks now.
We do not have ac at my house but we do have evaporative coolers that are supposed to be cheaper to run. Been running them 24/7 for 5-6 weeks . Last power bill was over $800 due to the heat and coolers running non stop.

Back to normal here. Looks like 70s for the next week
We’re back in the 80’s. The evenings are perfect for Margaritas.

Supposed to get back to normal averages by Thur or Fri. That is 88° for mid August. Sure have enjoyed the 2 upper 60's days and a handful of 70's for highs.
