Two options:

1) Motorcraft 5w20 preffered or any dino 5w20 for 6K miles or

2) Any 5w20/0w20 synthetic. Follow the maintenance minder system.

The engine will be clean and outlast the car if you do either of these.

I was back at the Honda dealer today and asked specifically about the oils they carry. They admitted to buying bulk QS as well as stocking Honda brand. How do you "prove" that they really do what you ask them to do (and pay extra for)? This dealer as been refreshingly open and honest about the buying and financing process so I'm hoping the same holds true in the service department. Or maybe I just buy the OE stuff online and DIY.

Of note, this dealer and facility is two years old. The CFO was telling me how 'green' they are. They burn all used oil collected for a heat source! That's a first.

I am thinking about using motorcraft 5w20 for Honda V6 engine. great price from walmartg. I understand mastercraft is manufactured by conocoPhilip. ConocoPhilip make great oil..

Not surprised they carry bulk QS or some other brand.

The only way to be reasonably sure that they use Honda oil at the dealer is to watch the work being done. If not, the other way is to do it yourself..
