Besides the fact that Type 2 is dyed blue, and HP is dyed green, are there any differences between these two types of Honda brand antifreeze coolant?

I'd like to know if using the Honda Type 2 automobile coolant is acceptable for use in a Honda CBR motorcycle.

I think the Honda Pro coolant is the same as type II. Honda emphasize that Pro has organic inhibitors. Sometimes type II is dyed green.

Here are all the pertinent numbers I found on the Pro Honda container:

Meets ASTM Specs: ASTM D-3306
H/C 3922614
Under the Barcode: 08C50-C321S01
I also find it noteworthy that the ingredients listed are the same on both containers.

You have both containers? Can you list the ingredients? Type II has sebacic acid so that is the tell tale they are the same. Pro HP is for certain either original or type II. As I said I think it is type II and if the ingredient the same then we know it is type II.

Both say the following:

CONTAINS: Water 7732-18-5, Ethylene glycol 107-21-1, Diethylene glycol 111-46-6. Using greater than 30 ppm of a bittering agent.

Since when was Honda Pro coolant silicated? I don't know of any Japanese OEM coolant that was silicated.
