JMO, but since the coolant change interval on the new Hondas is 120Kmi/10 years for the first drain/fill, and then 60Kmi/5 years thereafer...wouldn't it be PLENTY conservative just to do a drain/fill with one $12 jug every 60Kmi/5year? Or if you have an older Honda, just follow the drain/fill intervals given (45K/3yr, then 30K/2yr)?
I think that is what I'm going to do. I don't see much need to go nutty professor trying to get every bit of the old stuff out. I haven't heard anything to suggest that their coolant intervals are a weak spot (like transmissions for instance).
