Our PS pump was whiney at like 5K and replaced for free.

The V6 is effortless. Doesn't miss a beat.

+1 to all that. I've had mine loaded with 4x8 sheets of plywood and drywall, plus it will swallow 10ft sections of pipe, lumber, etc, with ease. We've also had 4 adults, 3 kids and luggage on 1000mi journeys that were still comfortable. It's a funny thought, but they do handle like they're on rails compared to other vehicles this size/weight and the 3.5L power is awesome. The only other MV that I've felt has more scoots is a late model Sienna. The road noise level is relatively high for the Ody and squeaks and rattles around the doors are common. The "four-shaft" 2007+ trans is supposedly the latest-n-greatest, but like said, there are TC issues reported on them. Like I've said many times on this board, swapping to Valvoline Maxlife ATF eliminated the flutter and annoying shifting on mine.
