After that, you've done just about all you can.
Look, you obviously take very good care of this car, but some noises and quirks are just inherent in some designs and manufacturing. Driving yourself crazy over some valve train noise just isn't gonna get you anywhere. Its also Possible there could be a hole or passage plugged somewhere, Auto-Rx/Kreen/SeaFoam/MMO could be a try for that.
Once you've got all that down and over with, then you go from there.
Edit: An injector malfunctioning could make a distinctively similar noise.
I think its had this intermittent ticking for as long as i can remember, guess i just started noticing it more lately. I think Ill just continue using Pennzoil Ultra or PP and Honda OEM filter. Before I change the oil out this next time Ill throw in a good dose of Techron in the gas tank and see what happens. Im also doing a used oil analysis on my current fill (Pennzoil Ultra 5w20 Honda OEM A01)
