NOT pizza. No.
Maybe bread with some other foods on it, but no.
NOT pizza. No.
I've never had a homemade pizza that was as good as my favorite pizza restaurant. I don't care for the wood fired ones either....dries the crust out. Some things are best left to the professionals who have the proper tools, equipment and experience. I doubt anyone has a wood fired oven at their house.
Neapolitan pizza is never dry or crispy from a wood fired oven, the crust is blistered but retains it's chew.I don't care for the wood fired ones either....dries the crust out.
Domino's is not pizzaI'll just order mine.![]()
We order from an Italian restaurant near us, Amici's. Pretty good stuff. High end anchovies. LolDomino's is not pizza![]()
I'll try it when I'm down there. I usually go to Pummarola, there's one near you at The Falls, I go to the Boca location.I'll just order mine.![]()
Thanks! I'll definitely try that one on our movie night at the Falls. Amici's is in the Hammocks area of west kendall on Killian Pkwy (104 and 157th).I'll try it when I'm down there. I usually go to Pummarola, there's one near you at The Falls, I go to the Boca location.
The crust is like nothing you've ever had. It might seem off at first because it's not crispy, it's soft with some chew. This is the true Neapolitan style pizza, made by pizzaiolo's (pizza makers) from Napoli; no I'm not from Napoli, but neither was MaradonaThanks! Maybe so....but I've tried three different places that sold wood fired....and they all had dry crust.Neapolitan pizza is never dry or crispy from a wood fired oven, the crust is blistered but retains it's chew.
That's unfortunate, but I do also appreciate a crispy crust, see post #8. We fight for the slices around the perimeter, my wife is the only one that likes the middle pieces with no crust.Maybe so....but I've tried three different places that sold wood fired....and they all had dry crust.
Lol, I used to do this ALL the time, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.View attachment 157867
Sometimes for a quick lunch I’ll make little pizzas on flour tortillas and bake them in the over. They turn out decent for what they are.
That's a casserole not a pizza
Amici's is one of my favorite places - Manhattan Red Clam pizza (wife doesn't like anchoviesWe order from an Italian restaurant near us, Amici's. Pretty good stuff. High end anchovies. Lol
