I put this DIY mini split in a month ago. Figure it's saving me 60% compared to #2 oil. It's not a direct comparison because some far corner rooms are cooler but it's livable. $.225/ kWH, $4.55/gal #2.
I have a wood stove that I run when it's 0-15'F, baseboard #2 boiler that comes on when nothing else is running, and the mini-split should be good for spring & fall when it's 25 at night and 50 in the day.
