I hope that they have tons of documented interview footage on this guy. I'm fascinated by the world view that these types of monsters have.

Just what allowed him to think that he was allowed to exist as he was? What defensible personal philosophy did he construct to allow him to function otherwise? What was he blind to since it was not compatible with his belief that he was "all right"?

It's a pity another girl had to die because this tool's father-a-hole covered for him...

Have fun in a Peruvian jail, you little [censored]!

Gary, His type of behavior comes naturally to a sociopath. He doesn't have to construct a philosophy because that is what he is.

Edit: Rereading your question I realize it was a rhetorical question. What if there were no rhetorical questions?

I'm guessing he has no world view. He, like all sociopaths, is motivated by his own deranged sense of need (in this case, getting with women and then murdering them).

The people who's world view I'd really like to know about are his parents - they facilitated his ability to fulfill his pathological needs.

I have a feeling that in the near future, when you look up "karma" on Google, it will have a big fat pic of this turd.

Drew, I suspect that for the most part, you are correct. I would differ as to how this sort of monster actually works. I think it's a wildly out of control impulse control problem. He wants to have it with Natalee, she says no, and he then either takes it (i.e. rapes her) and kills her to remove the new "problem" he has, or just kills her from rage that she had the gumption to tell him no. Either way, this ultra-spoiled little whatever is used to thinking he's entitled to have his way and that anyone who dares say "no" to any whim is in grave peril if there are no witnesses about to buffer his impulses. Whichever theory holds at the end of the day (we may never really know, and I won't lose a lot of sleep if I don't), this guy looks like he is finally done for. Yep, karma in spades. Just think -- he's facing about a half-century (assuming from his age/life expectancy) as the Dutch Boy Rapist killer in a Peruvian prison, and then he still has to face the "big guy" upstairs. Not a pretty picture.

Now, how funny is that? It's this piece of pond scum's old man (too bad he's dead and not around to watch the show) that threw money and threats around Aruba to get his psycho son off the hook after he off'd Natalie.

Let the show begin.
