High Performance Lubricants PCMO Series

Looking forward to running this in the Mercedes W124.

Speedy shipping plus a credit. Actual shipping cost was lower than estimated.

I enjoy supporting such an ethical company.

I think last year saw sales for Prime Day and I think Cyber Monday. I believe those were an additional 5% off.

A Free Shipping promo ( with minimum $x-amount$ purchased and maximum x-amount allowed in shipping weight) is what I want to see in the future from HPL. Something like that would replace the prior '% off' deals currently being used. Perhaps something like free shipping on orders of 12-24 quarts purchased equivalents?....... just a ballpark suggestion.
Buy enough oil that your savings, whatever % off that it is, is larger than shipping cost. Then you got free shipping AND a discount!

I never expected a %off sale plus free shipping. I asked for free shipping only. I got 15% off on 12 quarts HPL in May andd shipping was over $30-something dollars.
Amsoil currently has their free shipping month on a $49 order and no need for any money saved calculation before purchase.
It worked out well for me in savings last July 2023 on a $230 order (18 quarts).

Think I’m set on engine oil for a bit. Not the stash of many around here but stocked up long enough for me.
This order:
4 gallons of PCMO 5/40
12qts of HDMO CC 5/40
4 more analysis test kits

Leftover:
2.5 gallons PCMO 5/30

Also have some other oils & lubricants on the shelf for when I have to service in laws vehicles & lawn equipment.

Also received a rebate on shipping from HPL when it came in just over $20 less than quoted during checkout.

@High Performance Lubricants & @HPL Plant Manager

You guys have been great to work with & have always answered any questions I’ve had very quickly & thoroughly, never trying to upsell. I always try to support small business & the service is the reason for it. Keep the great product & service going & I'm positive your business will only continue to grow along with your reputation.

Thank You

Been away from Bitog a while and always thought of Amsoil Sig series oils as one of the best out there, even though I no longer really use them for engine oil on our older vehicles. Have now used HPL EC with other synthetics for a couple oci and have had some good results in lowered oil consumption and slowed seal leaks in some high mileage engines. Are there notable performance benefits in their oils over Amsoil's best offering? I guess I'm curious if anyone has compared their performance in regards to wear, fuel economy, and service life.

You can't go wrong with Amsoil or HPL. They both make top notch products and are passionate about the craft. However, it's HPL's customer service and transparency that puts them a cut above Amsoil. Amsoil is also more "universal" in that they formulate for a broad customer base. HPL, in contrast, has more specialized products (No VII, Supercar, EC, etc...) and takes more of a case by case approach to their formulas. HPL has made one-off, single quart oils for members here. Good luck getting Amsoil to do that.

I would have find Amsoil to be an attractive option if it wasnt going through all those layers of multilevel marketing. Given there are plenty of evidence what HPL oils does and how open they are to what raw materials they use without the marketing layer has earned my interest. I do believe at the end of the day you get what pay for.

The wide grade of selection can be overhelming but after doing enough reading on OEM specifications in relation to additive packages has helped me choose the oil i truely want.

The MLM shouldn't be an issue at all, just DM @Pablo and order them here or off the Amsoil website. The MLM bit is only if you want to become a distributor.

I think the MLM structure is holding Amsoil back. The association of MLM with pyramid schemes / scams has turned away a lot of potential customers. "SCAMsoil" is a term I've heard a lot. Of course, we know different, but we're not the average joe.

MLM is invisible to end user even if they use Amsoil.com these days. I may not personally use them anymore but there’s zero reasons to “avoid” Amsoil, especially if purchasing thru @Pablo. They deliver on what they say and are a great alternative to shelf-stock oils @ WM.

Holding Amsoil back in what way? Record sales almost every year after year. It's turned a few haters here away, but they probably weren't customers in the first place

No one I have ever met has heard of HPL. They don't get much shelf space anywhere. Word of mouth is good, because they sell good products - Amsoil also benefits from word of mouth. But a company needs more. Marketing is a battle for sure, but anyone who thinks Amsoil is a pyramid scheme is just wrong, no other way to say it.

They're definitely wrong, but they also definitely exist. It doesn't help when you have a bunch of dealers who don't know anything about the product beyond what's in the pamphlet. Hence, I commonly refer to Amsoil dealers as the Pamphlet Regurgitation Association. There's dealers who know the science behind the product and what separates it from common shelf oils, such as yourself. You're in the minority though. I've seen it several times where a dealer is overly pushy while not being able to answer basic questions and people turn away.

HPL has a niche in automotive oils. It's not their primary market. Roughly 80% of HPL's sales are hydraulic oils and other industrial fluids.

I'm happy to read you had such favorable results using HPL EC30 Treatment. You would enjoy an entire oil change using HPL Motor Oil even more. Five quarts is more potent than that Treatment - plus everyone here is saying it does various marvelous things to the often used engine, depending on the issue(s).

I've been using HPL NO VII oil for 3 oil changes now in my 6.6L gas GMC 3500.
It burns about 1/2qt in 7,500 miles.
I used Amsoil 5w30 signature series before. It didn't burn ANY oil with it.
Not sure why it's burning the HPL. 🤔
