Her Highness just touched down

I'm all for Ms. Taylor flying everywhere she wants to. More power to her... just so long as she doesn't record a Christmas song that I have to listen to ad nauseam for the next ten years. (Yes, I'm talking about you Miss Carey.)

I look forward to hearing Mariah Carey every Christmas. Also George Michael.

She's 35 and still singing about petty high school drama.
That was Fred "Mr." Rogers' theory. Since the audience is children there's no need for new material as there's always new fans aging into the market.

You can do things in life like turn your radio off.
Real live he-men upset over the existence of niche talents? Get over yourself.

I'll never forget the self-proclaimed "mountain man welder" who went into an anti Rosie O'Donnel tear when I called for a quote.
If you watch/listen to too much media anything, you'll clog your skull.
If you watch/listen to too much media, you might just be stupid in the first place.

I think she is just about defrosted, its going to be a good Christmas. Its funny how people are so impressionable, the folks in this thread really are upset over what other people think of other people when they should be focusing on themselves.

I heard Beyoncé had a great performance last night in Houston too.

Oh, and while we at talking about planes, Swiftys has International range, that must be really really nice.

Christmas music is one of those unavoidable things in life, unfortunately, unless you live in a cave in the woods. Some family members want it and stores play it earlier every year. I wouldn't mind it so much if they played a variety instead of repeating the same half dozen worn out pop abominations all the time.

Which is worse:
One superstar in a private jet, or 100,000 old men driving Silverados who never carry a load greater than an iced chest?
The 100,000 old men don't whine. And having the utility of a truck does not mean you "have to use it like a truck" 100% of the time. Duh.

Being, or not being, a total hypocrite does matter. Lenardo DiCaprio private jets back and forth to Europe pretty much ever week.

Would this even be mentioned if she was CEO of a Fortune 500 company?
There is a good chance that a CEO is engaged in a vital service to thousands … Many of us move past “celebrities” in our lives but still need vital services … Her? Not capable of being a CEO …

...and yet she is the CEO of a vast empire that creates work for thousands.
She pays her peeps nice bonuses as well, something few corporate types extend past the C suite.
At least her performances don't crash, poison people or get recalled.
For the record, I'm not a fan.
A Taylor Swift track has me changing the radio station as swiftly as an F1 driver changing gears back in the era of Hewland transaxles.

I could care less that she flies a private jet. I would if I could afford it too, but just don't lecture me on climate change and driving my ICE vehicle. She burns more fuel on that flight than some people do in a lifetime or at least several years.

Doug the Pug has redeemed that particular song for me - check out "All I Want For Christmas Is Food".

Between all the football basketball, baseball etc. etc. etc. teams flying around every day it seems rather hypocritical to target Taylor Swift.

I remember an interview with John Paul Dejoria saying that he would totally fly commercial if he could guarantee he could be in his 6 meetings in 5 states in the same day without delay.
A few years ago an up and come PGA golfer finally had to break down and get a fractional ownership on a biz jet. He took commercial flights for years out of Florida but always ended up getting to the host city later than everyone else and tired.
