anybody have one? I think IM going to get a browning bl22 but just wanted to check with everybody

I don't personally own one yet, but my father does and I have shot it several times. It is a Henry lever action .22 and it is really fun to shoot. It is accurate, the lever action is very smooth and it hold plenty of rounds for plinking. It is a very good quality firearm. If I wasn't putting money into a classic Mustang, I would own one.

I've had a couple. One shot so far right that it could not be sighted in (even with a scope on it)

The other one shoots to the right that I can scope it and use it. Very SMOOTH action (better than my Browning BL22 or Marlin 39a) I still own that one.

If you get a good one they are a great rifle. Prob the BEST customer service out there I've heard. I just don't like having to send new weapons that can not even hit the target at 50 feet back in.

When they were $200 good deal. Now that they are close to $300 still good but wish their QC from the factory was better.

Take care, bill

My .357 Henry is very fun to shoot (and accurate for iron sights). I can hit a soda/pop/coke/soda pop can at 50 yards..

I bought the Henry 22 lever action about 2 years ago. It has been fantastic! I shoot alot of 22 shorts through it out in the backyard and around the house, much quieter than the long rifles. Let my dad borrow it for a while and now he owns one too. Put a nice 3x9 scope on both of them. The henry is more accurate than my ruger 10/22 at any range, great squirrel gun and critter control. I've actually knocked off about a half dozen woodchucks with it at a hole about 65 yards behind my house. It's a great rifle. I can't remember the exact capacity for it but with shorts I think it's up over 20. Maybe 17 with 22lr.

I prefer the term "Critter Gitter".

Update! My buddy bought the Henry and it shot 2 foot to the left. He got on the help line and I swear to God I think he talked to the main man. They sent plastic sights. He bought the gun a China mart. They may be different at different places I dont know. Henry got on the stick and fixed him up and even followed up with a phone call. They fed exed the parts out. These people are serious about being good about customer service. I dont own one of there guns but I sure as heck would consider on after what I have witnessed. Henry may be the best in the business on customer service. A big thumbs up to you Henry and I dont even own one. Well, yet anyway.

PUt them on and the gun shoots great. I ended up with the Browning bl22. Very nice gun but is no slicker than the Henry. In fact, I think the Henry is slicker and browning is no slouch. H
