Trying to nut this out has me going around the twist a bit

and mistakes are costly so need help!

I have a Japanese diesel, the engine needs at 4000rpm 300cfm.
I am replacing the original unit with a truck type filter, space is somewhat at a premium.
I found a couple of likely suspects but the technical side confuses me.

Would this unit work for me? with a bit to spare? The specifications read backwards to me.

Donaldson FWG08-8041

6"H20 = 205cfm
8"H20 = 238cfm
10"H20 = 266cfm

If not what numbers should I be looking for as a base?

Thanks nqcairns

Thanks, hard to do here in Australia many companys have a firewall. Donaldson seems no different, they try and force people to go through local multi brand sellers and their sales staff level of advice. Makes for a very long turn around in information when they need to keep phoning and get back to me each and every time they cannot answer a question fully instead of a simple flow of question and answer from those that know their product inside out. Gives me the poops no end at times (pet hate).

Our market model keeps the customers as mushrooms, worse-hardly heard and never seen, must have it too easy here, not enough competition I say. The net has been one saving grace I must say esp the forums world wide.

cheers fnq
