Help me pick

Need to change out my QSUD 5w30 in my 2012 Nissan Pathfinder 4.0 V6 I have on hand QSUD 10w30 or Mobil 1 0w40 I was going to go with the 10w30 Quaker but it is still cold at night here in Western Massachusetts I don't think it will go to zero anymore but 10F to 15F at night is still possible so what would you use?

How many miles on the oil currently in use? If less than 7500, keep it in there another 6 weeks and then change it to the 10w30 Otherwise go with the 0w40

About 6,000 miles on current fill but lots of cold starts and a real lot of idle time.

I'm sure we are in for at least one more big, wet snowstorm before spring is sprung, but you're right that a truly cold spell is unlikely at this point. 10W30 should be fine for 10-15F...

QSUD 10w-30 has a pour temp of what -39. I think you're safe.

I'd grab the Mobil1 0W-40 and use it for a full year. Then decide ...
