Help me pick 1 of these brake pads

I’m running ebc red on my 21 Nissan and brembo nao ceramic on my 18 rogue. Im really becoming a fan of the brembos. Zero, and I mean zero dust and they’ve hit their stride as far as stopping power at around 10k. The ebcs may not be the right pad for my application. There’s a squeal that I can’t eliminate anytime I back out. I also have a set of Ebc ultimax 2 in the shop that I may slap on this weekend for chits and giggles. The next rotor and pad change I may go with the brembo setup that I installed on the 18 rogue.

What do you want out of the brakes as ceramic compounds run the gamut these days? Long life? Low dust? Good bite? Some are better than others in these areas. Without any other info, and assuming you just want a good solid pad, from your list I would pick (in this order):

Pagids
Bosch QCs (DON'T get the Blue Line)
Dynamic Friction
Wagner
Bendix

@sh40674 is this discussion helping your decision at all? Brake pad selection is highly subjective and people running the same pad on different vehicles often report different results. Consistency in any single brand seems to waiver also. What was considered good here 3 years ago suddenly falls from grace.

Sure it's helping. I known it's subjective but it's still helping me narrow down. I was kinda leaning towards the Bosch Quiet Cast... to see people here recommend them helps. Dynamic Friction I always thought was never a consideration but I'm starting to find people actually use them often

You're right, should have put that info in, kinda threw a post up in a rush.
Good initial bite is always best IMO. Daily driver so getting cut off or a deer jumping out is the biggest issues.
Then I want something that remains fairly quiet. Lower dust is always a plus, can't get all I want on a budget just don't want my wheels caked every few days either

I also have a 2024 CX-5 (see my signature.) Bosch QC will be going in that car when it's time. Only have 11,000 miles on it right now.

Same here, I want to try out the Bosch QC pads/rotors on my cx5 when these current pads need replacing.

From that list, I would go with the Pagid.
Any idea where these are made? Also, it's confusing but afaik, Pagid has a Silver line that offers both semi-metallic AND ceramic. So, a) I am wondering if they are made in different factors or b) if they are made in different regions/countries.
Final question: I am wondering if it's worth to pay a bit extra for Akebono.

+1 on the Bosch Quiet casts here. Used then on multiple cars including wife's Mazda 3. Always been happy with them
Yes, a better and typically less expensive option when compared to the akebono offerings.
