Help! Left Chapstick in Pocket - Big Stains!

UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I washed all my dress clothes - pants, shirts, etc and left a tube of Chapstick in the pocket.

Now I got big stains on lots of nice clothes!!!!!!

Did it a couple years ago and could not get the stains out.

Does anyone know what works in the laundry to get the Chapstick stains out...?

I asked my wife and she said your best bet is the goop used for cleaning your hands and lightly rub in the spot of the Chapstick.

Ha - I have Goop and already spot treated the stains, poured Shout! in the water and now washing in hot water.

GEEZ!!!!!!!!!!!! This has happened to probably thousands of people!

If they're still in there, I'll pour in Goop or Pine-sol.

This sucks!!!

Now I stopped the wash, drained and scooped in HALF OF A TUB of GOOP!

Oh, man.

Try some Auto-RX, but you have to do the extra rinse cycle.

Since Auto-RX is known to not work, try some MMO.

The 1/2 tub of GOOP equates to the triple strength of Seafoam I put in my Saturn SL1 yesterday morning!!

I feel your pain. Last year I missed a crayon in one of the kid's jeans.

Not only did it ruin basically everything in that load, but I had to spend some time cleaning out the dryer itself, too.

I wish you the best of luck. We had to throw all the clothes out, save for one shirt.

How much people spend on new clothes every year in America because of leaving Chapstick in their pockets...??

Nope Goop didn't touch them - they're set in now.

Dang! An expense I didn't need - all new dress clothes to buy now - as in tomorrow!

You might (or might not) be able to wash them out using starter fluid in a well ventilated area. That ether will dissolve just about anything. Worth a shot. It might not work on everything, but you could possibly save a shirt or two.
