Hello, long time lurker but I finally able to post a UOA. I ran this oil from 1/1/08 to 8/16/08 (7 1/2 months) with a K&N oil filter. Driving condition is mixed 50/50 city/highway and the car is garaged. I think its good report for a young engine. I though iron copper and Al would be sky high but it falls within the average. I wish the oil held up better though. The car recommends 5W20 but I am glad I went with 10W30. It did sheer with a bit of fuel dilution. I replaced the oil with Amsoil SSO. Thanks for looking

Actually, the oil sheered to a grade that you should be using anyway! This report look great for a new engine. Probably a good idea that you changed out the factory fill early which helped in this report as you can see. You might want to consider staying with this oil even though it sheered to be about a 20 grade, which is typical of many 5/10W30's due to fuel dilution. Changing brands of oil filters may contribute to an even better UOA in the future. K&N's arn't known for their filtration as much as they are their flow. Yours did quite well though.

I'd change this first batch of SSO after 10,500 miles (15,000 total engine miles), since the motor is still wearing in and leaching lots of silicone (which can cause oil foaming).

I'd highly recommend the Amsoil EAO oil filters for long service intervals.
