Here is the latest analysis on my 98 Chevy Silverado with the 5.7L. This is the first sample since having my intake manifold gasket replaced, which was about 6,000 miles ago. I used 5oz initial dose of LC and than 1oz every 1,000 miles after. I used an AC-Delco PF52 oil filter. Here is what Blackstone Labs had to say:
WAYNE: Last time, when we didn't find the improvement in potassium that we were looking for, we were a little worried about a lingering antifreeze seep into the oil. But potassium has dropped now, and your silverado is looking about as perfect as they come. The intake manifold repair was good. Wear remained steady and shows no trends that would indicate a problem developing. The oil was in good shape physically, containing no moisture, fuel, or coolant. The air and oil filters are working well too. Great engine! No new problems found.

I'm happy with these results. Now that I've seem to solved the intake leak situation for now, I will try extending the oil change a little.
