Just about every thread that has any inkling of politics/religion goes right down that path. Arrogant tones that do nothing to promote the goodwill and nature we should all feel for one another. Many members who shall not be named do it a lot regarding any mention of foreign nationals or differing political view.

I am not asking for a "Heal the world" or "Kumbaya" type of revival but taking it down a notch seriously isn't a bad idea. We are supposed to be a "family" site and as such I've embraced avoiding the censor even be used.

Based on your opinion and the responses, then one of the following is true:

1) You are too easily offended
2) You have read a bunch of threads that many others apparently haven't
3) You are correct but others do not know how they are coming across
4) You are correct and others know what they are saying but are denying it

2) No, they read them too maybe not as I did in the same context

4) Possibly, but calling them out isn't respectful and since I am not a moderator PM would just enrage them I'd imagine.

My one goal is it sparked some discussion on the topic at least.

But if they're hypocritical or ill informed then I'm all over them nipping at their heels.

If I think that giving someone PREFERENCE for a job, promotion or school admission etc...based on race/ethnicity is wrong and unfair does that make me a 'hater' or a 'racist' or a 'bigot' in the OP's eyes? In other words does supporting the MERIT system make one a H/R/B?

PS: This is happening in America today.
