This car is going do very well IMO. It will replace the Celica and give the RSX-S a run for it's money. A TRD 200HP version will be still under $20k, which is $3k cheaper then a Type-S RSX. Also, torque is 163lbs for the tC vs 141 for the RSX. RSX needs to get that up a bit.

Is this 22/30 mpg for the tc?
I'm looking at the xA and the milage seems respectable, 31 city/37 highway.

I'm in need of a repalcement for my '93 Sable. The Scion xA is looking interesting.

I see the public relations people are aiming this at the 'Gen-Y'crowd, but it looks like a nice 'empty-nester' car as well.
I no longer need to tote around 2 teenaged boys and all their friends (thank the Maker). This car looks like plenty of room for me and the remaining son for running around town ( I can put 50 miles on the car and never get farther than 7 miles from home).
Not sure how it would be for the spouse, child and me on a long trip.

Anybody know any one with one of these?

It was a nice thought while it lasted.

When at a Toyota/Scion dealer in Feb they had a display set up.
Carmax in Kenosha has them listed for sale.
And I have seen the Box Scion on transporters on the tollways.
So I would think they are here!
Motortrend has a has a review of the Xa in the latest issue.

Sort of. The mid-west is getting the 2005 model year cars, but they should be available in the next week or two.
