Has anybody watched "Earnhardt" on Amazon Prime?

I just finished Netflix’ NASCAR Full Speed and it was pretty good, but being a Logano fan it had a great theme for me.

Earnhardt is next on my list. 👍

I didn't know that level of detail. Wife said they actually skipped something about one of his three wives, made no difference to me (?)

Good stuff, sad but very interesting. Truly driven.

Loved it those 1991 Luminas were the coolest as a youngster

The part that I found the strangest is Kerry and some of the ways it seemed he was left out and he was out mowing the lawn when it happened

Definitely recommend for NASCAR fans

After you all finish Earnhardt, there is another good show on Prime.

"American Thunder, NASCAR to Le Mans". This documents the Garage 56 Cup Car (sort of) entry in last years LeMans 24 hour. It's hard to fathom just how much money was spent on this project. The pit crew challenge was pretty entertaining too!

Edit: Just saw the next thread in Racing about this. Sorry.

Started watching it on ROKU Tv today. I did not realize this was a mini series. I like the way episode one started out. Looks good so far.

Some years ago my sons gave me the Richard Childress Racing made , 6 DvD set titled DALE. The set includes the R.C.R. produced movie (stars actor Barry Pepper as Dale Earnhardt Sr.) that was made around 2007. Really well told story/movie. Will be very familiar to those who followed his life/career. The Dale Earnhardt Sr. DVD tin box set contains six DVDs and includes a replica Daytona 500 ticket. The DVDs showcases Dale Earnhardt Sr. during his time with Richard Childress Racing. The set features adult fan apparel and souvenirs. Most NASCAR fans should enjoy this. No idea what the set cost when new. I have seen several for sale on eBay from $10 to $20 so they are still available.

Great one. Like how they focused on him/family relationships and didn't go into the HANS/safety thing.
No they didn’t. But the very next race showed a shot of Jr. with the HANS on. Highly recommend this series.

I also recommend the NASCAR at the 24 hr LeMan. Hendricks motor sports built a car to try to survive the race. The French loved the car and especially the sound it made. That deep throated V8 sound.

I was there and lived it real time. Like many we love that type of man, but the changes to the car to correct other issues contributed to death along with the physics in play. For me I haven't given it time because it is too close to the memory of being on the infield when would came out. The next race I was in the stands when Jr. hit the wall in front of us and was not moving. I thought oh, not again. We couldn't have done this to both in one month. Luckily he came too and we still have him today adding to the sport with his Dirty Mo and other initiatives. It is like the Isle of Man TT race documentary, where you get to know these men and what drives them to play within an inch of their life's end, and then watch them pass. I hear Brad Pit's next movie is Isle of Man TT based.
