That's just insane. While I doubt that an alligator that small was capable of killing those kids, they can cause some pretty serious injuries if they're scared. I've out and about with my kid where were wild animals, and that's just irresponsible. Now I've taken photos of alligators, but it was where they were a decent distance away and/or I was on a deck and they were in the water.

There IS a cure for stupid, just let natural selection work. Problem is sometimes bystanders get caught by the debris. Trying to create a "safe" world is futile.

They are allowed to breed and vote! Every winter the California highway patrol has to run snow players off from the runaway truck ramp on cajon pass. Yes those stupid parents let their kids play on the ramp where 80000 lb trucks run off into.

I vividly recall my dad pulling into a picnic area in Yellowstone and seeing a dozen people including kids surrounding and approaching a full grown elk with massive antlers. Dad said something to the effect of, "We don't need to see what's going to happen to some of those idiots," and pulled right on out of there. And this was back when they showed the gory stuff on Wild Kingdom on TV.

We'll never run out of stupid people, unfortunately.

A whole, whole, whole lot of people do not understand, comprehend and recognize the high level of danger certain wild animals are to humans.

Buffalo can kill a person very easily… How many videos are out there with champions getting way too close to them ?

Elk… Moose are extremely dangerous too..

I saw a picture from Sports Illustrated 16 years ago where 3 guys were walking backwards with long sticks attempting to stave off wolves. And the closet wolf was snarling teeth showing…. A truly terrifying picture. Well in that camp one of those people who was not involved in that incident went out in those same woods… AFTER that incident… Knowing what had happened ..With no gun… Nothing to protect himself. He got eaten by those wolves… They found pieces of his backpack. .

Sometimes people are just that clueless.
