Happy Friday to me

Anyone else find it odd that the mirror isn't damaged. That focus is low to begin with and all the damage is within 2 ft of the ground. I don't know any car that can do that damage and not smack the mirror as well. It looks a lot like it was dragged along a parking lot marker post, not sideswiped. My wife has done identical damage to two of our vans in her work parking lot making tight turns alongside a concrete barrier. Who drove the car before you pulled it out of the garage? Possible you missed the damage getting into the driver's side and pulling it out of the garage? I've been sideswiped on the passenger side by someone passing a line of cars (mine included) in the shoulder and the mirror is the first victim.

The mirror did get slammed inward. It travelled beyond its stop, but it popped back into place and is not broken. Got the orbital buffer after if this morning but the front passenger door skin is wrinkled. The passenger side of the car is parked along a elevator platform in my parking garage and it's the first thing I see when I step off the elevator. Couldn't have happened at work anyway because nobody can get to that side of the car. It's isolated by the elevator platform curb and a huge concrete pillar. Additionally. I always adjust my passenger side mirror downward so I can see where my wheels are in relation to that curb , and I adjusted it back up on my way out of the parking garage. Nobody drives my car besides me. I've narrowed it down to a 15 minute period sitting in front of my house.

Yep. Go for a walk in your neighborhood to see it any vehicles have side damage.

It could also been a careless Uber eats driver looking for a house and accidentally hit your car.
