I like Black Eyed Peas with chunks of ham mixed in and cornbread to go along with them.

The sad thing is, this is exactly what I was having for dinner last night when this happened. Emmmmmmmm good.

Really? REALLY?

Not impressed period. Loved that some of the "performers" in the light suits turned on the wrong color at times. It was cool seeing everyone but a few turn on the correct color. A sea of green with 2-3 reds!

Waste of time IMO. The marketing does work I guess.

I found it odd that some claim the NFL was 'out of touch' by playing older bands (Tom Petty the Who, Springsteen, Stones) the last few years, but isn't that right in the middle of the super bowl demographic?
do they really think that middle America is really more in touch w/ the Black Eyed Peas?
this fake studio-produced, auto-tuned-to-death so-called 'band' was finally revealed to everyone as what they really are. they cannot sing, or even write meaningful lyrics!
and I was surprised that the mix was off, as well as the lighting; usually the NFL gets this pretty good, esp considering the logistics involved.

and I agree w/ Johnny; get a good big marching band in there! have some sort of college or High School competition to win a performance at the Super Bowl!

Maybe I'm just getting old, but I too thought it was awful. Fergie cannot sing. She proved that by butchering a GnR song (which would be hard to do). On a positive note, I guess they didn't lip-sync? I figured it could only sound that bad -- live.
