GRRR - Walmart and M1 0/40

Well I live in realville, so I simply adapt to current conditions.

I haven't seen a properly stocked and organized walmart since 2019. Again, this is why I tend to order from walmart.com

I have pretty low expectations generally, it’s pretty bad when they aren’t met.

And apparently you can’t order for pickup without. Paying extra even if it’s allegedly in stock.

If i actually have to have something shipped I’ll reward Blauparts and order something from them.

You must order $35 for free pickup / delivery. I just add something I would buy anyway - like paper towels or laundry soap or whatever.

Again, just adapting to the current situation.

BTW - if you think things are bad now, wait till you see the current crop of post pandemic kids coming out of school into the workplace.

Shelves bare of ANY Mobil 1 and Castrol, only Valvoline at my local Walmart (metro-Detroit area). Asked one of the staff stocking the selves as to what gives, and they shrugged their shoulders. As others have said, seems to be a localized thing. Checking online and the usual options are available.

does wm ever put the 0w-40 box of 12 quarts on sale? i recently switched to using it for everything so i can stock up if it goes on sale.

None to be found.

one jug of 5-40, and some Euro 0-30....

Guess i gotta either find an alternate or overpay at a parts store...
Try ordering on-line for in store pickup. You would be surprised what can be had even when it's not on the shelf. Walmart has some of the worst restocking I have experienced.

I have learned that Walmart can be hit or miss for oil, filters, and other items. Plus, it's the only store where everyone is treated as a shoplifter.
