This is the felpro valve cover gasket kit for a SOHC Saturn. From the looks of the box, you'd expect a... flat gasket, right? Nope. It's nothing but a tube of RTV, its needle, and two grommets. Available at an Autozone near you.

A gasket kit usually contains a gasket of some sort. Return it and ask for one that contains the gasket that should have been there in the first place.

Yep, that's way many are assembled at the factory. They even sell RTV in cartridges to fit "caulking" guns. I must admit that I'd rather use RTV than a cork gasket on valve covers!

That's the way it's supposed to be. I'm thinking there must be a reason in the warehouse, etc., where they need a box that long or it'll get lost.
