I played with the LUX app on my Phone, and compared the Pricey Armytek C2Pro max warm( 4000k) , to the 9.19$ Peetpen L21 and the 9$ RantiZon headlamp.
Aimed at the white popcorn ceiling with phone flat on the table, light reflector at the same height as smart phone.
This test favors the narrower output of the Peetpen and Rantizon. Raising all three towards the ceiling does not appreciably raise the measured Lux on peetpen or Rantizon, but does with Armytek, but the numbers below represent all lights at the same distance from popcorn ceiling
The Armytek C2 promax warm:
Turbo 2........ 155 lux, claimed 3720 lumens
Turbo 1........ 49 Lux, claimed 1320 lumens
high.............. 16 lux, claimed 440 lumens
med................ 5 lux, claimed 140 lumens
low.................. 1 lux, claimed 30 lumens
The Peetpen L21 handheld light. No claimed lumen output.
High....... 24Lux
Medium..9 lux
Low...........1 Lux
The Rantizon headlamp.
Highest................. 39 lux
Medium high......21 lux
Medium................10 lux
medium low........5 lux
Low.........................1 lux
The 2 for 10$ cheapo headlamps measure 1 lux on the reflector LED , and 0 lux on the COB.
Outside, the Rantizon wins the throw competition. The Peetpen's smaller distant hotspot is slightly brighter, but the wider distant rantizon hotspot is is 85% of the Peetpen, but the wider rantizon spill outside the hotspot is 2x as bright as that of the Peetpen, to my eye.
For 9$, now 10$, the Rantizon is the best bang for the buck flashlight I own, by a considerable margin. Put a 3400 Mah battery within, for the win. It is ever so slightly cooler color than the Peetpen, and neither would I put int the Blue tint, like the cheapo 2 for 10$ light.

The 100+$ Armytek' Wizard C2 promax warm very wide floody even output on turbo 1 or 2 would be awesome, for others standing behind me to see anything in front of me, but in terms of distance throw for the wearer of this headlamp, the 10$ Rantizon wins, easily.
In terms of Which i will likely choose for nighttime dog walking, the 10$ Rantizon headlamp output is the leader, but the Sofirn HS40 I do no yet have in my possession, could beat it.
But one huge factor in nighttime dog walking, is I like how thee Armytek body can be positioned low on forehead to block both sides of oncoming car headlamps from my eyeballs. The Rantizon smaller body is not as effective at this. Those who decide to blast me and my dog with their high beams, the Armytek could likely reciprocate the obnoxiousness most effectively, especially on strobe.
