those are a good value used. so much cheaper than a chevy SS, CTS-V, corvette, you know, LS powered stuff that i want. It's certainly tempting to get one of these or even an Infiniti M56 just because they are vastly cheaper.

Me too ^^^^

Good job man... You got a winner here in my book.

I'd say that checks all my boxes:

1. Interesting car.

2. Probably reliable.

3. Fast ( 1/4 mile matches 1969 Dodge Daytona "winged warrior" hemi).

4. Comfortable.

5. Depreciated way ahead of its intrinsic useful life.

Not a likely collector's item. But who cares?

Very beautiful car, comfortable and amazing ride. Congrats and enjoy it

Not just 25 YO not interested it's really nice car with no interest in the market all ages. I am sure OP will really enjoy it.

would like to upgrade the sonata for one but the back seats dont fold down for extra storage room, even the 5 series and e-class seats do

Well here's an update on the Genesis. I changed the oil the other weekend and noticed a coolant leak slowly dripping and stuff was green and sticky underneath. I took it into the dealership. Also complained about the front left parking sensor not working right. Well, that turned out to be damage from rocks on the freeway, so I'll figure out what to do there ($1,350).

Dealer confirmed the water pump was leaking. The mechanic also noticed a clunk in the front end. I didn't notice anything really, maybe something slight and I was used to it. They found the control arm bushings cracking.

Fortunately for me, I bought the Platinum Hyundai extended warranty (good until 135k miles) earlier this year. They sent out an inspector for the control arm bushings and they approved all 8 new front control arms and an alignment. Dealer also gave me a loaner car for 10 days.

Total out the door: $5,400.58. My eyes almost popped out of my head! Anyways, it drives great. I guess I can slightly notice a difference in the ride.

Jeez, makes me wonder if owning my pilot after warranted expires next year is even worth it. Btw, I had front lower control arms replaced a month ago due to compliance bushing tearing just at 42miles on a 4yr old car. If not for honda care extended warranty I'd be looking at over 1k bill. Plus start stop switch button failure earlier this year, plus some other stuff. 700$ extended warranty paid for itself for sure

I’ve only had one big ticket expense and that was the transfer case on the E83 X3. It was still a great vehicle and I kept it for nearly 200k miles. No biggie; you have to pay to play.
