The name might have something to do with that. Sounds too religious to me and I aint anywhere near 25.

Is that considered a negative thing?

Names ? When I used to arrive in Korea this was one of the normal pickup cars - about 4/5 of them with one odd driver having a nice black 300 …
Then one day I saw it - a huge billboard for the new K9 ! Told my partner somebody in the US will need to intercept that name before it hits our shores !

Kinda like when the Chevy Nova came out and GM tried to sell it in Mexico. They couldn't understand why it wasn't selling until someone in marketing looked up the name in a Spanish-English dictionary and figured out the name in Spanish ment, No Go.

So far so good, we've had really nice weather for weeks so we'll see how it is in the summer. I really like the auto climate control. Set and forget.

Looks like:
Change oil every 7,500 miles (5w20, 5w30, and 10w30).
Change cabin air filter every 15,000 miles
Change both engine air filters every 30,000 miles
Change spark plugs every 97,500 miles
Change coolant every 120,000 miles, then every 30,000 after that?
Inspect rear differential fluid at 75,000 and 150,000 miles. No replacement scheduled I guess. I'll change it.
It wants the tires rotated every 7,500, but they're staggered and this set the dealer just put on are directional.

Urban myth. The Spanish is no va with a space. SNOPES FAIL

And the name Genesis has nothing to do with it, not many young guys want a big 4 door sedan.

Nick, smoky burnout pics mandatory. How do you rotate directional staggered tires?

Nice car

I'd imagine they are "rotated" every 10k after doing mandatory smokey burnouts... at the tire shop while getting new rear tires.

Naw, he's already got an Aston Martin hood emblem.

I'm reminded of the pre-owned Astin Martin ad--it may be fake but it's a good one. But it's NSFW so I'll leave it at that.

That's a nice car, congrats on buying it! I'm probably one of the few 27 year olds who wants one, but they're fairly rare near me without AWD. Mine would have to be the 5.0 and RWD, if for no other reason than to hear that engine while having plenty of room to haul myself and 3-4 people in comfort while not worrying about dealing with the service department of a Dodge dealer for a Hemi Charger every two months.

Carfax showed it was dealer maintained here in Phoenix, oil changes regularly. It also came with new tires and brakes!

I don't think they're Brembos, but they're big!

Honestly, that was the main reason I didn't go for a Chrysler 300. They're priced well, but not so sure on reliability. Although I'm not expecting this Genesis to be a Corolla.

The features and tech in this car are kind of ridiculous!

It does this when you walk up to it at night-time:

To be perfectly fair, you *could* live with the broken exhaust manifold studs. But that's why I got the v6 in my 300.

I'm kind of kicking myself for forgetting Kia/Hyundai made these... and I don't like the 5.7 hemi, need to test drive one of these to see how it compares... 395HP and 369ft lbs is more than the 5.7 makes in the 300! Very nice ride dude! Let us know how the fuel economy is lol
