For 800bucks and similar to the Duratrac this tire has 130 reviews on their site. $176 on sale for the lt265/70r17 e

I asked about a different tire's price the other day and the automotive asst manager or so pointed out these.

It's only sold at Walmart stores.

It's similar to the duratrac though not the price and the side tread blocks are more like the old BFG M/t tire. Just better siping.

Since the reviews say the wet road handling is good. I figured I will look into getting these instead of my other previous inquiries. But if they don't have 3ply sidewall I'll have to go with the ko2.

For a hunting season tire these would be better than the ko2 for where I hunt and take the truck. I'm thinking ill less likely get into a bad spot of needing pulled out of the muck if I go with this cheaper than duratrac alternative.

Anybody ever run them or heard any great things about them?

For a few dollars more you could get----------at Tirerack, Discount Tire Direct, etc.,

Buy them there-get them mounted else where.

Wait until the next holiday sale at (fill in the blank) tire store.

Well they have GOODYEAR on them .

And better yet ...

At the Goodyear dealer they had the adventurer tire for $220 I think it was if not more With MADE IN CHINA.


So even though it's sold only at Walmart . USA made is far better than given money to another country's economy?

No lift. Just wanted better off-road traction for a hunting season tire for seasons to come as well as the end of this season.

The other tire I was looking at really getting is the cooper st maxx for the months of nov thru feb. Then the nitto crossteks will go back on after February.

My family has bought many sets of name brand tires at Walmart and, have had them mounted and balanced. Never a problem. Ed

I might be putting some of these on instead on the 29" tire on my cherokee with a 2" suspension lift the 31x10.50r15 tire. My regular ko tires have seen their lifespan and take a lot of weight to balance due to neglect of rotation and balancing while at the farm.

The GY authority tire for a jeep that doesn't get driven a lot, this might be fun. Definitely cheaper than getting the new ko2 for it.
