How far back in time do you have to go to get port fuel injection, one single camshaft with no phaser, and no cylinder deactivation?

According to RockAuto, 2006 was the last year for GM. RockAuto calls it a "non-active fuel management valve lifter."

Correct. The only flaw in this engine is the DI without port injection.

And in the LT series DI has not been issue if you are talking about carbon build up on the valves.
